People and Places
" Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness."
My family have this thing about travel.
My wife and I in particular struggle with the sands sea and sangria notion ( though each to their own) and our holidays are usually about traveling to see other countries, exploring their cultures and meeting their people . At the last count for me it was 44 countries ( but my wife can add Soviet era Eastern European countries to that list.) South America for us is the unexplored area and is next on our list so watch this space.
For us, in an increasingly narrowly defined and it seems rather scared world, meeting people of other cultures is essential to understanding and co-existence.
Some people would describe my Travel images as " street photography" and I'd accept that .
( Please note some of these galleries such as; the Artistic Doors of Funchal and Humanity are " view only" that is either to protect the copyright of the artist of origin or the rights of the individual.)
I never travel without my diary. One should always have something sensational to read in the train.
